Enchanted Support For Improved Mental Health project
This project has ended
Our 18-month Enchanted Support for Improved Wellbeing project has now come to a close 31 /01/2026. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part, to our partners and networks for their ongoing support and referrals, and especially to the Community Fund Awards for All for making this project possible.
We’ll be taking a short break while we reflect and carry out a full evaluation of the project, and we’re very grateful to everyone who shared feedback, reviews and helped with monitoring. These insights will help shape the next stage of our work so we can keep building on what has gone well. During this time, we’ll also be looking for new funding so we can continue supporting our community, as we received many referrals that we were sadly unable to accommodate this time.
“Our current funding has now come to an end. As a result, we are unable to accept new referrals at this time. However, we will continue offering virtual support to the beneficiaries we have been working with recently. We are also carrying out a full evaluation of the project, and the insights we gather will help shape the next phase of our work — ensuring we build on the progress and successes we have achieved so far. “

The ENCHANTED SUPPORT PROJECT
We provide support to vulnerable people in our community including the elderly. Our 12-month pilot project funded by the National Lottery which offers FREE 2 hourly support in the community to people in need of extra help in their own homes. Our dedicated team of supervised trained volunteers are DBS checked and will provide personalised support as agreed with clients.
If you would like ongoing or additional services ( which are not part of this funded service), please contact us for more information.
We understand that domestic and household tasks can become overwhelming therefore, we are committed to providing domestic support and assistance with household tasks to improve the well-being and overall quality of life especially for those which are housebound. This support does not duplicate local authority support e.g., personal care.
Support for people aged 60 to 65 years old include deep house cleaning, change of clothes, light touch grooming i.e., barbering, hairdressing, change of sheets, laundry, and decluttering. We recognise that maintaining a clean and organised living space can be challenging for some individuals.
With effect from 10th December 2023, due to oversubscription i.e. exceeding the numbers funded, we have stopped taking on new referrals until further notice, as we work through current referrals. As a result of the success of this project, we are working tirelessly to identify new sources of funding for the continuation of the project.
