Enchanted Support for Improved Wellbeing, Befriending and Gardening

We are delighted to announce that we have received National Lottery Community Fund funding for our new 18-months project. Starting on the 21st of September 2026 to the 20th of March 2028, Enchanted Support for Improved Wellbeing, Befriending and Gardening.

This new project will support people who are housebound and socially isolated living across Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth. It is designed for people experiencing depression, anxiety or cognitive decline who are not currently receiving the support they need.

Through regular home visits, participants can receive practical help with personal grooming, including basic hair, nail and foot care, as well as light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, decluttering and organising key areas of the home.
In response to feedback from stakeholders involved in our previous project, we will also introduce therapeutic gardening and structured befriending from late summer 2027.

These activities will help participants build meaningful connections, improve wellbeing and feel safer, healthier and less alone.
